I discovered photography long before I ever imagined it would become a career. I picked up my first camera as a high schooler in Texas, drawn to the simple magic of nature and landscape photography. Some of my earliest photography days were spent in the Texas Hill Country and the Appalachian Mountains, camera in hand, watching light as it filtered through trees and rolled across the landscape. I was inspired by shifting fog, and the way light could completely transform a scene. Most of my early subjects were trees and a lot of morning fog. They were incredibly patient models, and they taught me everything I know about looking for the right light! What started as curiosity quickly became passion—and that passion carried me all the way to Philadelphia by way of a photography scholarship, which is where I began building both my career and my life.
I’m inspired by color and dynamic light—the kind that naturally draws your eye, highlights emotion, and gives energy to a frame. I use light to shape my subjects and bring attention to what matters most. Paired with rich color, my goal is always the same: to make images that feel alive. Images that feel like laughter mid-sentence, a hand squeeze just before the ceremony, or a room full of people you love all at once.
What excites me most is knowing that the images I create will outlive the moment itself—that they’ll become part of someone’s legacy. These photographs aren’t just for today; they’re for anniversaries, future generations, and quiet afternoons spent remembering.
From the very beginning, Grace prepared us so well for our day. Her communication, guidance, and attention to detail made the entire process feel effortless. She walked us through a thoughtful timeline, gave advice that was incredibly helpful, and did it all in a way that never felt pushy. It truly felt like having a knowledgeable friend by our side.
